Scituate Arts Association Spring Workshops and Classes
The Scituate Arts Association announces their Spring Workshops and Classes. Come join one of the two special workshops which the SAA is offering this Spring. In April, Photographer Ron Wilson and his students will explore and photograph the coastline of Scituate from the salt marshes of the Driftway to the mystical rocky ledges of the Glade from Friday April 27th to Sunday April 29.th Then May 19th, Audubon Society Artist-in-Residence Barry Van Dusen is giving instruction in “Nature Art in Field and Studio” with a focus on his specialty-bird art in watercolor. SAA Spring class offerings include our popular ongoing watercolor group taught by Mary Beth LoPiccolo and the opportunity to paint en plein air with Bob Beaulieu. And don’t forget our Second Wednesday Figure/Portrait Workshop. Classes are taught at the SAA's Ellis House unless specified otherwise. Additional children’s programs are in the works with the Scituate Library. Stay tuned for further information. Mary Beth’s Beth’s watercolor class is suitable for beginners as well as the advanced student. A relaxed class atmosphere encourages growth and development and includes demonstration, critiques along with individual attention.
